Achievement in April.

Busy month this month and the first of our 6 games is at home against Brentford. They have away form of 5-5-9, scoring 16 (the lowest of the top half teams) and conceding 25 goals on the road. They have failed to score on 9 occasions and kept a clean sheet in only 5 of their away games this season.
Their topscorers are Macdonald(11) & Weston(10). David Hunt has the most assists with (4), followed by six players with (3) each.
Our record against them over the years is fantastic, 15-8-5 scoring 51 & conceding just 21 in 28 games.
(Last season - n/a)

Three days later the short trip to play-off contenders Colchester. With the Colchester Chairman deciding to offer up more tickets for Millwall fans the crowd is likely to be split 50-50, us & them. They have the 3rd best home form in the league, 13-4-2 with 31 scored and 18 conceded. They have only failed to score at home twice, a 0-5 defeat to Norwich and a 0-0 draw against Brighton. From their 19 home games they have kept 9 clean sheets. Currently they are in a sticky run being without a win in 6 games, which has seen them drop to 6th place and risk their play-off participation.
Topscorers for them are Lisbie(11), Odejayi(10), Platt(9) & Wordsworth(8). While Platt(6), Lisbie(5), Ifill & O'Toole(4) have the most assists.
We have a winning record at Colchester, 7-5-6 scoring 21 and conceding 24.
(Last season - Won 2-1)

Next up a home game against the only Football League side in Kent, Gillingham. They are very real contenders for a relegation place, mainly due to their awful away form of 0-6-13, the worst in the League. They have scored 13 away goals (3rd worst in the League) & conceded 39 (joint worst in the league with Wycombe). The only away game against a top half team that they didn't lose was a 2-2 draw at Charlton. They have failed to score in 8 away games and kept 3 clean sheets in 0-0 draws at Walsall, Yeovil & Stockport.
They are over reliant on Simeon Jackson for goals, their topscorers being Jackson(17), then
Weston(8) & Barcham(7). Palmer, Nutter, Bentley & Jackson have the most assists with (4) each.
Our record against them at our place is phenomenal, 27-10-5 scoring 102 and conceding 43.
(Last season - n/a)

Three days later a mid-week trip to Yeovil. They are a mild risk for relegation but still could possibly go
down. They have home form of 8-6-5 scoring 31(the highest of the bottom half teams) & conceding 22. They have failed to score in 5 home games and kept 7 clean sheets at home.
Their topscorers are current Millwall loanee player Obika(7), Bowditch(7), Mason (6) & Tomlin(5). Andrew Welsh has an amazing (9) assists followed by Mason on (4).
Our record at Yeovil is very good, 2-0-1, scoring 2 and conceding 2.
(Last season - Lost 2-0)

Another 3 days gap until the next game a trip to Huddersfield to play in front of the SKY cameras. They
have home form of 10-8-1 (the 2nd most home draws in the League), scoring 43 (the joint highest in the League with Norwich) and conceding 18. At present they haven't won in 6 home games, and have failed to beat a team from the top 8 in the League at home. They have failed to score in 3 home games(0-0draws against Bristol Rovers, Brentford & Stockport). They have kept 7 clean sheets at home.
Their topscorers are Rhodes(20), Novak(11), Robinson(10) & Pilkington(8). Also, Roberts(13), Pilkington(11) & Rhodes(7) have the most assists.
At Huddersfield our record over the years is poor, 4-1-10 scoring 14 and conceding 28.
(Last season - Won 2-1)

After a busy week on the road and an 8 day gap we play Leyton Orient at home. They are serious contenders for relegation, although they maybe safe by the the time we play them - or not.
They have away form of 3-5-11, scoring 16 and conceding 33. They have failed to score in 9 away games, and kept only 3 clean sheets on the road. At present they have lost their last 3 and have failed to win in their last 6 away games.
Their topscorers are McGleish(11), Mkandawire(7), Jarvis(6) & Thornton(5). Sean Thornton has the most assists with (7) followed by 4 players on (3).
Our record against them at our place is very good, 16-4-7 scoring 41 and conceding just 23.
(Last season - Won 2-1)

A very busy month with some very winnable games. This month will see us guarantee a play-off place, and hopefully also be well placed to claim 2nd, and promotion.
